Loop Audio Online — Repeat Any Sound File N Times
Repeat any audio file a set number of times and export it as a single continuous audio file.
What Is Audio Looping?
Audio looping means repeating an audio file a certain number of times to create a longer continuous file. Unlike simply pressing repeat on a media player, this tool creates a brand new audio file that contains the audio repeated end-to-end as many times as you specify. The result is a single downloadable file of the desired length.
Why Loop Audio Files?
- Background music — Create a long background music track for a video from a short loop. A 30-second music loop repeated 8 times becomes a 4-minute background track.
- Relaxation and meditation — Extend short ambient sound files (rain, waves, white noise) into hour-long relaxation recordings.
- Game audio — Create looping sound effects or background music tracks of specific lengths for video games.
- Presentations — Extend a short intro jingle to fill the duration of a presentation intro screen.
- Practice tracks — Loop a musical phrase or drum pattern for extended practice without gaps.
- Sound testing — Repeat a test tone or audio sample to fill a specific duration for audio equipment testing.
Seamless Looping
For the best looping results, the source audio should be recorded or designed as a loop point, meaning the end of the audio flows naturally into the beginning with no click, pop, or gap. If your source file has a natural loop point, our tool produces seamless repetition. If there is a gap or fade at the end of your file, each loop repeat will include that gap.
Calculating Output Duration
The output duration is simply the source duration multiplied by the number of loops. A 10-second file looped 6 times produces a 60-second output file. A 30-second file looped 120 times produces a 60-minute file. Be mindful of output file sizes when looping many times.
File Size Considerations
For MP3 and other compressed formats, the output file will be proportionally larger than the source. For WAV, very long loop counts can produce enormous files. Consider using MP3 format for very long looped outputs to keep file sizes manageable.
How it works
- Upload your audio file (MP3, WAV, OGG, AAC, or M4A).
- Enter the number of times to repeat the audio (e.g. 3 for 3 repetitions).
- Click Loop Audio to generate the repeated file.
- Download your looped audio file.
